Job Summary and Qualifications
The role of the Clinical Supervisor is to assist the Director of PeriAnesthesia with the operations of the department. He/she ensures patient care is provided according to Hospital and unit specific policies and procedures.

The Clinical Supervisor oversees and directs the charge nurses to insure appropriate staffing of qualified and competent personnel are available to provide care to our patients and families.

The Clinical Supervisor assists with orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department(s).

The Clinical Supervisor assists the Director with interviewing and selection, retention, disciplinary actions, terminations and yearly evaluations of department employees in conjunction with the Director or/ and Human Resources.

He/ she will provide input to the director regarding space/equipment recommendations, budgetary needs, and other resources needed by the department.
What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
