Position Highlights
POSITION SUMMARY: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents the care of infusion/oncology patients requiring infusion therapy of ages greater than eighteen. Directly guides the care delivered by the patient care partners. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents the care of ambulatory patients within a clinic setting. Assists with any procedures and provides ordered treatments as required. Provides and documents patient education and works cooperatively with members of the Patient Empowered Care teams to integrate patient's care.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered nursing degree from a nursing school.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa.
ONS chemotherapy certification within 6 months.
Current general nursing and oncology experience.
BLS (CPR) required.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certified within 6 months.
