Summary:
The Charge Procedural RN responsibilities include:

RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills

RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
-
RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members.

RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.
This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. For this position, we prefer a minimum of two years RN critical care experience. We prefer at least 1 year RN experience in PACU. PACU experience is strongly preferred. Charge experience is preferred.
