About the Opportunity
A highly respected behavioral health organization in Portland is seeking compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its growing Sobering & Deflection Center team. This program provides critical support to individuals experiencing substance use crises, behavioral health concerns, intoxication-related needs, and community-based stabilization services.
This is an excellent opportunity for LPNs who are passionate about behavioral health, addiction medicine, crisis intervention, harm reduction, and serving vulnerable populations in a meaningful, community-focused environment.

LPNs in this setting play a vital role in helping patients safely stabilize, access resources, and move toward ongoing recovery and support services.
What You'll Be Doing

Provide direct nursing care within a sobering and behavioral health stabilization environment

Complete patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical documentation

Support individuals experiencing intoxication, substance use disorders, mental health crises, and co-occurring conditions

Monitor patient safety, withdrawal symptoms, and stabilization progress

Collaborate closely with RNs, behavioral health teams, providers, case managers, and community resources

Assist with care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning

Help maintain a safe, trauma-informed, recovery-focused environment
Qualifications

Active Oregon LPN license required

Ability to work a consistent 12-hour day or night schedule

Experience or interest in behavioral health, detox, addiction medicine, crisis stabilization, ER, corrections, or acute care preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm in high-acuity situations

Passion for community-focused behavioral health and patient advocacy

Pay Details: $31.00 to $37.20 per hour
