Job Description:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Demonstrate caring behaviors, respect, equity, inclusiveness, and empathy while implementing nursing professional development initiatives.
Promote opportunities for collaboration and partnership across education and clinical practice settings.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to advance professional development.
Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry, guiding the identification of potential projects and providing subject matter expertise.
Champion a spirit of inquiry by supporting research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives using preferred methodologies (e.g., PDSA).
Drive collaborative problem-solving and support the implementation of meaningful change.
Foster a supportive environment for nursing research, scientific inquiry, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
Disseminate evidence-based findings through education programs, courses, and other developmental activities.
Model professional standards to inspire alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. [Required]
Knowledge of the American Nurses Association (ANA)/Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development. [Required]
Working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications. [Preferred]
Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to support the seven roles of the NPD practitioner: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, advocate for the NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. [Preferred]
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, OSHA) for professional specialty served. [Preferred]
