Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient Primary Care Clinic
Location: South Bend, WA
Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension based on facility needs)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-6:00pm
Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a rural outpatient primary care clinic in South Bend, WA. This is a 13-week temporary assignment with the potential for extension based on facility needs. The LPN will work collaboratively with providers and clinic staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a community-focused clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting

Perform rooming, vital signs, medication administration, and injections per scope

Assist providers with patient exams and minor procedures

Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

Educate patients and support care coordination

Comply with clinic policies, professional standards, and infection control practices
Requirements
-
Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License
-
One year experience as an LPN/LVN preferred

One year experience in a clinic setting preferred

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR if applicable
-
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
-
Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Experience working in a rural healthcare environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills
