Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide general and emergency nursing care within a county jail medical unit. This role involves daily interaction with adults and juveniles in custody while upholding strict safety and security standards in a correctional environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide routine and emergency nursing care to individuals housed in a county jail

Collaborate with onsite medical staff and correctional personnel

Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility protocols

Support a safe, secure, and compliant clinical environment
Minimum Requirements

Active Practical Nursing License in the applicable state

One year of correctional, jail, or detention center experience preferred

Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
