Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Contract Opportunity
Location: Western Massachusetts
(Openings in Adams, North Adams, Clarksburg, Williamstown, West Stockbridge)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (strong likelihood of extension)
Schedule: All shifts available (full-time and part-time)
Setting: Group Home
Pay Rate: $20/hour
About the Role
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a respected organization in Western Massachusetts to hire Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) . In this role, you will provide hands-on care and daily support to individuals with disabilities in a group home environment, helping them lead safe, independent, and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct personal care , including bathing, dressing, and toileting support

Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed

Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment

Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Encourage independence, personal growth, and goal achievement

Facilitate community outings and recreational activities

Follow care plans and document services accurately
Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older
-
Reliable transportation required

High school diploma/GED or 1+ year of relevant experience

Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and toileting assistance
