Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Escondido, CA
Pay Range: $60-$65 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities

Assist with medication administration (med pass) to support clinical staff and minimize delays

Perform and monitor medication counts, including box audits and narcotic counts, ensuring compliance at shift changes

Conduct clinical audits such as refrigerator temperature checks, AED logs, and room inspections

Support RCU initiatives, including UA collection, follow-up coordination, and proper documentation (IMS forms)

Obtain vital signs and assist with client observations in collaboration with the medical team

Ensure adherence to facility protocols, regulatory compliance standards, and high-quality patient care practices
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience in a healthcare setting (SNF, hospital, or behavioral health preferred)

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Strong knowledge of medication management and regulatory compliance protocols
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Requirements

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Active BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
