Primary Care Nurse - OB/GYN
Location: Lynn, MA
Facility Type: Community Health Center / Clinic
(Split role: 50% floor nursing, 50% case management)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
No weekends or holidays
Duration: 13 weeks to start, with strong potential for extension
Compensation

Position Overview
We are seeking an RN with a passion for patient education, care coordination, and women's health. The Primary Care Nurse - OB/GYN plays a key role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across all stages of reproductive health, including prenatal, postnatal, and gynecologic services.
This role focuses on collaboration with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized care plans, promote preventive health, and support positive outcomes for both mother and child.
Ideal candidates will thrive in an ambulatory or community health setting and value building strong relationships with patients and families.
Key Responsibilities

Triage OB/GYN patients (walk-ins and phone calls) to determine urgency and appropriate care

Perform clinical duties including:

Non-stress tests (NSTs)
-
Pregnancy testing
-
Family planning services
-
Medication administration
-
Assist providers with procedures and patient care as needed

Complete the AWHONN Introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring course within 1 year of hire

Collaborate with OB case workers to ensure continuity of perinatal and postpartum care

Provide individualized patient and family education
-
Maintain efficient clinic flow and support overall patient experience

Work closely with a multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications
-
1+ year of OB/GYN experience
-
Active, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
-
Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bilingual (Spanish, Khmer, or Russian) with medical terminology
-
Experience in community health or ambulatory care settings
-
Experience working with diverse patient populations
-
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
