Research Nurse (RN or LPN)
Schedule: Rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) + every other weekend

1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM start

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM start

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM start
-
Schedules are finalized 2-3 weeks in advance
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct study unit activities in support of Phase 1 clinical trials
-
Ensure the safety, rights, and well-being of all study participants
-
Facilitate and continuously support the Informed Consent (ICF) process, providing clear education on study procedures
-
Enroll participants into clinical trials and guide them throughout the study

Perform clinical assessments to monitor participant health and identify adverse events
-
Accurately document adverse events and escalate appropriately

Perform study-related procedures, including:
-
Cannulation
-
Venipuncture
-
Vital signs collection
-
ECGs, telemetry, and Holter monitoring
-
Collect, process, and handle biological samples per protocol and SOPs
-
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
-
Transcribe source data into Case Report Forms (CRFs)
Required Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN or LPN license (required)
Must have minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a patient-facing setting
MUST Hold CPR or ACLS certifications
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
