Registered Nurse - Hospice
The Registered Nurse - Hospice provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals facing terminal illness, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive hospice care across a variety of settings, ensuring that patients and their families receive the highest level of support during end-of-life care.
The Registered Nurse assumes full responsibility and accountability for the coordination, planning, and delivery of patient care. This includes utilizing strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions with appropriate supervision. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, holistic care and supporting fellow healthcare professionals in managing patient care needs.
The ideal candidate consistently demonstrates adherence to established nursing standards, maintains accountability in all aspects of patient care, and exhibits a commitment to excellence in both independent and team-based practice.
Minimum Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

Current CPR certification (if required)

TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as applicable)

Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations)

Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
