Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both TRAVEL and Local experienced RN Psych nurses in Goldsboro, NC!
Position: RN Psych
Shifts available:
· X3- 3p-11:30p, 40hrs EOW
· X2- 7a-3:30p, 40hrs EOW
Contract Length: 16 wks
Number of Openings: 4
Start Date: 7/1 or 7/15
Facility Info:
Skilled nursing facility, more like a LTC with Neuro Developmental patients Very Nice layout, about 3-4 patients per tech, hallways consist of 12 patients other techs will be on shift to assist along with RN's. Very nice facility.
Requirements:
***After offer you will have to go to facility to see Employee health, and will do paperwork they will get copies of any medicals that you have. This must take place prior to starting. If you have lived outside of NC in the last 5yrs this is the time you will also do fingerprints. (fingerprints can take 4-6 weeks to come back and we must have them back prior to you starting)
Orientation:
Is 4 weeks please keep in mind this is day shift 8a-5p and M-F. No time off or RTO during this time at all.
The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
