Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Interim Manager of Care Management (RN) to support our healthcare partner in Presque Isle, ME. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily case management operations, supervise a small team, support discharge planning and care coordination efforts, monitor department performance metrics, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within an acute care setting.
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $35.00 and $ 36.18 . Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support 3-4 case management team members, including coaching, performance management, and staff development.

Oversee daily case management operations, discharge planning, and care transition activities.

Lead interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary departments.

Monitor key performance indicators including length of stay, readmissions, observation rates, and avoidable days.

Drive process improvement initiatives and root cause analyses to enhance operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and organizational policies.

Support quality improvement efforts related to care coordination and patient outcomes.

Partner with hospital leadership, community resources, payers, and post-acute providers to improve care delivery and patient flow.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.

Active RN license.

Minimum 5 years of acute care case management experience.

Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience.

Strong knowledge of discharge planning, care coordination, utilization management, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous leadership experience in a hospital-based case management department.

Experience improving patient flow, reducing avoidable days, and managing department KPIs.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards.
Additional Information
Pay Details: $35.00 to $26.18 per hour
