We are seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy outpatient oncology practice in Fishkill, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering chemotherapy infusions and providing compassionate care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oncology Infusion RN seeking a weekday schedule while making a meaningful impact on patients receiving cancer treatment.
Location: Fishkill, NY
Position type: Minimum 3-month temp/contract role (likely contract extension and/or temp-hire)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly pay rate: $ 47.37/hr.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Assess, monitor, and document patient status before, during, and after treatments.

Manage IV access, infusion pumps, and medication administration safely and accurately.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.

Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to emergencies or complications.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Previous oncology chemotherapy infusion experience.

Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
