Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager Neuro ICU has the direct-line responsibility for day to day operations and overall responsibility for the nursing department, insuring that employees have effective management, good communication and appropriate discipline. The Manager MICU insures that the charge nurses fulfill their responsibilities as front-line supervisors. Also, the Manager MICU is responsible on a 24-hour basis for the coordination of patient care, administrative and nursing activities as well as being responsible, on a 24 hours basis, for the quality of nursing care provided to patient.
What qualifications you will need:

Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required

Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association

3+ years of acute care nursing experience required with 1+ year nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting required

BSN required; MSN preferred
