Description:
St. Joseph's Health is bringing together two exceptional teams-Oncology and Hospitalist/Complex Medical Care-into one dynamic, highly collaborative inpatient unit. This integrated model provides diverse clinical exposure, advanced skill development, and strong leadership support.
We are seeking full-time and part-time RNs for day and night rotating shifts, with up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.

About the Unit
This unified inpatient unit blends oncology and acute medical care , offering opportunities to expand clinical expertise while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Clinical Focus Areas:

Oncology & Chemotherapy: Care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy and palliative care. Oncology-specific training and certification provided.

Acute Medical/Hospitalist Care: Manage a broad range of acute and complex medical conditions with rapidly evolving patient needs.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care from admission through discharge

Perform assessments, care planning, and clinical interventions including telemetry monitoring and chemotherapy administration

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through daily rounding

Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to NYS Nurse Practice Act and professional standards

Support continuity of care across the patient journey

Serve as a clinician, educator, mentor, and patient advocate
Qualifications
-
Current RN license in New York State
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg or Critical Care experience preferred

New grads encouraged to apply through Nurse Residency Program

Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Pay Range: $38.75 - $58.35
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
