Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a Registered Nurse for our client in Johnstown, PA.
Type: 3-month+ contract, with potential for extension
Pay: $53 to $55/hr
Location: CAMBRIA AND SOMERSET COUNTIES; Mileage will be reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient
Schedule: M-F: 8am-4:30pm; On Call/Weekend Requirement: 2 NIGHTS ON CALL DURING MON-THUR
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
· Coordinate end-of-life care for terminally ill patients, acting as the primary liaison between families, physicians, and the hospice care team which includes the hospice medical director.
· Assess patient needs, manage pain and symptoms, and oversee the execution of personalized care plans to ensure comfort and dignity.
· Manage a designated patient caseload, conduct initial and ongoing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments of patients in their homes or residential facilities.
· Educate caregivers on patient care, disease progression, and the grieving process.
· Maintain accurate, compliant electronic medical records (EMR) and update physicians on patient status changes.
· Participate in regular IDT meetings to review care plans and adjust interventions as the patient's condition changes.
· Productivity expectations: 5-6 PATIENTS/DAY
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

PRIOR HOSPICE EXPERIENCE

ACTIVE PA RN LICENSURE

Current CPR certification

Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
