Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) supports the daily operations of the surgical suite while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. This role assists with coordinating operating room activities, supporting physicians and surgical teams, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.
The OR RN serves as a patient advocate and liaison throughout the surgical process while collaborating closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and leadership to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, competent, and high-quality perioperative nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.

Assist in the daily coordination and workflow of the operating room.

Support physicians and surgical staff during operative procedures.

Monitor patient status and communicate relevant information to physicians, anesthesia providers, staff, patients, and family members as appropriate.

Promote and maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards.

Assist with oversight and guidance of Operating Room Technicians and support staff.

Monitor inventory levels, supplies, equipment availability, and expiration dates; communicate needs to leadership as appropriate.

Serve as a patient liaison throughout the surgical experience.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and organizational standards.

Foster positive working relationships across clinical and operational teams.

Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications
Education
Experience
Licensure & Certifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

CNOR or other perioperative specialty certification preferred

Pay Details: $50.00 to $57.00 per hour
