Position Purpose:
This salary position involves on-call coverage weeknights (Sunday - Thursday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM).
PACU RN - Recovery with Heart, Teamwork, and Purpose
We're looking for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN who brings both clinical expertise and a calming presence to patients emerging from surgery. If you're passionate about delivering safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment where no two recoveries are the same, you'll thrive here.

As a PACU nurse, you'll be the first face patients see after surgery-monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and reassuring loved ones-all while collaborating with a tight-knit surgical team. It's an essential role with meaningful impact every shift.
What You'll Do:

Assess physical, emotional, and educational needs as patients transition from anesthesia to recovery

Develop and adapt individualized care plans using strong clinical judgment

Monitor post-op conditions, respond quickly to changes, and ensure safe discharges

Educate and support patients and families with clarity and compassion

Communicate clearly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to coordinate care

Stay flexible to support department needs and adapt to evolving healthcare technologies

Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuous learning opportunities to grow in your role
