Here's What You Need

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

1 Year related healthcare, adult education, and/or community education experience Required

Other National Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification Upon Hire Preferred

Other National Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification 6 Months Required

Effective communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
What You Will Do
-
Educate the community on child passenger safety using effective adult‑learning strategies while maintaining clear, confidential participant records.

Support the Child Automobile Safety Initiative by attending meetings, trainings, and completing quarterly fitting‑station events; maintain CPST certification.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, serve as a patient advocate, and foster positive relationships with families, coworkers, and physicians.

Coordinate and manage class/event scheduling, provide substitute coverage, mentor new technicians, and participate in peer evaluations.

Travel to other THR locations as needed to support child‑safety events and uphold high standards of public relations.

Follow all organizational policies, recognize and report ethical or legal concerns, and help identify and improve inefficient processes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance care continuity and support system‑wide quality improvement efforts.
