The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
Minimum Requirements:

One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred

Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements

Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

BDM will either approve submission or provide feedback.

Once BDM confirms that submission is approved, please match to the OPEN position correlated with that NEO.

Get to OM ASAP.

Inform your HCP that only the highest qualified nurses/aides receive an Interview Link from Montana State Hospital. Interview links are typically sent out 24-72 hours after submission.

It is highly recommended by the facility to attend the interview. Please Dress Appropriately and introduce yourself and the HCP, no need to stay for the duration of the interview.

Make sure that HCP is aware of the Time Zone differences for interview. Please see attached form in Position for Video Interview Etiquette. There is not a second chance for that NEO if an interview is missed.

Once Interview is complete - we wait for offers. Feedback/Offers are typically given about 2-4 weeks before Start Date. Continue Credentialing.

Once offered, you'll receive an email from BDM for next steps.

Send out FDI email (Template will be sent by BDM) and Important Candidate Information.

Send Compliance as Adobe Stitched PDF to BDM as soon as possible.
