*Registered Nurse (RN) Hawaii Acute Care Hospital Units
RNs with an absolute minimum of 1 year current experience, as a licensed
Registered Nurse, in the same acute care hospital unit as you are applying
for.
Med-Surg, ICU, NICU, PICU, L&D, Onc, SDU, ER, OR, PACU, Tele, Peri-op,
Cath Lab, Pediatrics, Neuro (Subject to change)
(Sorry, no new grads will be
considered however we do have another Acute Care Hospital in a different state
that will accept New Grads into their residency program for as little as a one
year commitment. Large Sign-on bonus available for this one)
We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients with compassion and one who can facilitate their speedy recovery. The candidate will be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention methods and healthy habits. Ideally, the candidate should be a responsible, gentle and well-trained professional who can provide exceptional nursing care with minimal supervision whilst following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote the patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient’s charts.
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician’s orders.
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures.
- Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
- Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

Requirements
- Must have passed NCLEX-RN- (If you have not, please contact us for
advice for future opportunities)
- Minimum 1 yr current and proven experience as a fully licensed Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.
- BScN
- Current VisaScreen Certificate for non-US

- Valid US or Canadian passport or Green Card (We cannot sponsor)
- Valid nursing Hawaii RN license or eligible for. (We can help you with this)
- BLS & other unit specific certs incl ACLS, PALS, NRP, Tele, TNCC etc
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible and compassionate.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
