Travel RN - Hospice
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Pay: $ 55.92/hour
Assignment: August 31, 2026 - November 27, 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Weekend/On-Call: No
Coverage Area: Greater Lake Charles
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered hospice care throughout the Greater Lake Charles area. The RN will case manage a group of hospice patients, coordinate care, and ensure patients and families receive high-quality support throughout their hospice journey.
Key Responsibilities

Case manage an assigned group of hospice patients.

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.

Assess patient needs and coordinate appropriate hospice services.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Follow hospice policies, procedures, and applicable standards of care.

Travel between patient visits throughout the Greater Lake Charles area.

Mileage between patient visits is reimbursed .
Required Qualifications
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license .

Previous hospice nursing experience required .

Strong clinical assessment and case-management skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.

Positive, flexible, and willing attitude.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospice RN seeking a Monday-Friday schedule with guaranteed hours and no weekend or on-call requirements.
Pay Details: $55.92 per hour
