Schedule: 4 days per week | 10-hour shifts
Hours: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the facility

Position Overview
The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will provide perioperative nursing care in an ambulatory surgical setting, with a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and supporting the surgical team.
Working under the general supervision of the ASC Practice Manager and direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, the RN will assess patients, support surgical procedures, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and maintain a safe and aseptic environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of perioperative nursing experience with both scrubbing and circulating experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assess patients preoperatively, verify patient identification, and confirm required consent forms.

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures , anticipating and supporting the needs of the surgical team.

Maintain an aseptic, organized, and safe operating-room environment.

Monitor patients' physiological and psychological status and implement appropriate safety measures.

Assist with patient transfers and transportation while protecting patients and staff from injury.

Accurately document nursing care and activities to support continuity of care, quality improvement, and professional accountability.

Provide patients and families with appropriate education, discharge information, and support.

Evaluate patient outcomes and the effectiveness of nursing interventions.

Respond appropriately to emergency situations, including providing life-support measures and directing or assisting other healthcare team members as needed.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, surgical staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable professional standards.

Maintain professional conduct, reliability, and a team-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license through the Washington State Department of Health .

2+ years of perioperative nursing experience.

Hands-on experience scrubbing and circulating in the operating room.

BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association (AHA).
-
ACLS required within 3 months of hire.

Demonstrated ability to practice according to AORN standards of perioperative nursing practice.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $51.90 per hour
