Shift Details:
Nursing Specialty: Operating Room RN
Registered Nurse (PACU) Duties & Responsibilities:

RNs should have comprehensive experience in Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Colorectal, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery.

RNs must be skilled in circulating and assisting during a wide range of surgical procedures, demonstrating a thorough understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols across multiple specialties for elective, urgent, and emergent patient cases.

RNs must be adaptable, able to anticipate surgical team needs, and capable of providing support in both complex and routine procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the operating room.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Minimum of two (2) years of recent Operating Room nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.

AHA BLS/ACLS/NRP,
-
Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification,
-
NIHSS Certification,
-
MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City),

Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.

Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
