Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Ashburnham, MA who is currently seeking a qualified General School Nurse to assist them on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include:
Position: General School RN/LPN
Description: The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The School RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students within the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promoting the health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronic conditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis' philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Hours: 40
Shifts:
Week days will be a mix of 2p-11p and 3p-11p, weekends (friday-saturday) will be 10p-6a. Must be okay to work weekends as well.
Requirements:
Looking for candidates who are comfortable with IVs, blood draws, EKG, med passing
Would like candidates with a school background, but are open to taking candidates with ER, ICU, and triage experience
2+ years of experience
