How you'll make an impact in this role

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population. Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.

Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials. Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports.

Develop, implement and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals. Utilizes principles of adult education throughout all learning activities.

May serve as an educator for unit-based, hospital-wide and/or community education programs. All other duties as assigned.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.

BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.

Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
