Whether a patient requires a minimally invasive procedure or a major surgery, our caregivers are dedicated to excellence in patient care.
This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position will work 2- 12hr shifts per week from 5:30am to 6:00pm, 7:00am to 7:30pm or 8:00am to 8:30pm. No weekends or holidays required.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.

Perform scrub functions, such as selecting and handling instruments and supplies.

Performing circulating functions, such as monitoring, recording and communicating patients' conditions and managing the overall nursing care of patients before, during and after the procedure.

Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks, such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure and patient positioning.

Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments and surgical equipment for use.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Internal applicants: one year of recent related clinical experience.
-
External applicants: two years of recent related clinical experience.

Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments required
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > 75 pounds periodically.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $43.00
Maximum hourly: $43.00
