Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a client to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in Weymouth, Massachusetts .
This opportunity is ideal for an RN with strong clinical skills who is comfortable caring for patients recovering from procedures involving IV moderate sedation (IVMS) or MAC anesthesia. Previous PACU/recovery experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate is a confident and clinically strong RN with excellent assessment skills and the ability to recognize and respond quickly to changes in a patient's condition. PACU, post-anesthesia, procedural recovery, or ambulatory surgery experience will make a candidate particularly competitive for this role.

Pay Rate: $ 47.37/hr.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients recovering from procedures involving IV moderate sedation (IVMS) or MAC anesthesia . Responsibilities include:

Monitoring and caring for patients during the post-procedure recovery period.

Assessing patients following procedures and identifying changes in condition.

Monitoring vital signs and patient response to anesthesia/sedation.

Providing appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs.
-
Ensuring patients meet appropriate recovery criteria prior to discharge or transfer.

Communicating patient status and concerns to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
-
Working efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .

Current BLS certification .

Current ACLS certification .

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous PACU experience strongly preferred.

Previous post-anesthesia or procedure recovery experience.

Experience caring for patients recovering from IV moderate sedation or MAC anesthesia.

Outpatient procedural or ambulatory surgery experience.
