Position Overview
Two NICU RNs are needed for 13-week assignments, one Day shift (7 AM-7 PM) and one Night shift (7 PM-7 AM) . This is a high-acuity Level III NICU requiring strong experience with vents, oscillators, pressors, and micro-preemies. Minimum 2 years Level III NICU experience is required. Phone interview conducted by the client.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse - NICU cares for newborn babies who are delivered pre-term or at-term newborns who experience complications at the time of birth. The Registered Nurse - NICU provides intensive around-the-clock care, including both medical needs and basic daily care activities.
Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices

One year NICU experience required

NRP card per contract requirement
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
