The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Cedar City Hospital - Women & Newborns is a LDRP model (labor, deliver, recover and post partum all in one department) 7 bed Labor & Delivery rooms and Simply Birth, 9 Mom/baby or triage rooms, 4 bed Special Care Nursey (SCN); Community Level 1 hospital delivering down to 35 weeks gestational age. Patient Population: >20 week gestation age -> delivery, SCN resuscitation, 35wk > newborn, Readmit newborns
