Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have an active Florida nursing license, strong patient communication skills, and hands-on experience with phlebotomy, venipuncture, medication administration, immunizations, EKGs, and electronic health records.
Location: Longwood, FL 32750
Contract: Minimum 3-month+ temp/contract role (potential for extension or temp-hire)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Dress Code: Clinic scrubs
Pay Rate: $ 34.87/hr.
Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and appropriately triage calls.

Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy under physician direction.

Maintain accurate patient logs, records, and EHR documentation.

Administer medications and immunizations in accordance with provider orders and established protocols.

Perform EKGs, ear irrigation/washes, and other routine patient services.

Assist with additional clinical procedures and patient-care activities as directed by the physician.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient information is handled in accordance with HIPAA and clinic policies.

Provide professional, courteous customer service to patients, providers, and staff.

Support general clerical and administrative functions as needed.
Required Qualifications

Active Florida LPN license
-
Clinical experience in an outpatient, physician-office, or similar healthcare setting preferred.

Experience with venipuncture/phlebotomy.

Experience administering medications and immunizations.

Knowledge of medical equipment and routine clinical procedures.

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients and all levels of personnel.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
