Shift Details:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Performs duties within the scope of practice to ensure quality patient care, under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel.

Completes required documentation in the electronic health record or other modality.
-
Prepares patients for examination and treatment, takes patient histories, vital signs, and records chief complaints.

Performs office procedures, tests, and examinations. Maintains adequate supplies for exam/procedure rooms.

Transcribes provider orders and schedules return appointments.
-
Performs venipunctures and lab tests. Assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Minimum Qualifications:

Copy of current, valid, unrestricted license as a CNA issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing -OR- issued by a participating Compact State.

Copy of current, completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing obtained via the following link: https://azbn.boardsofnursing.org/licenselookup

Copy of current, completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators.

Copy of current, completed First Aid Certification.

Minimum of one (1) year of past work experience in this position.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
