Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health
Location: NHP Pensacola
Schedule: Monday through Friday, excluding observed federal holidays. Work an 8.5- or 9-hour shift between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute or 1-hour meal break.
Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program

Minimum of one year of nursing experience after graduation

Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Perform physical examinations and obtain patient health histories

Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform nursing interventions

Provide patient education, counseling, and health promotion
-
Recognize and respond to emergencies and adverse symptoms

Supervise patient care and assign duties based on staff scope of practice and skill level

Coordinate referrals, specialty care, telemedicine, and tele-consult services

Follow all applicable MTF policies, procedures, and standards of care
