BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced OR Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team.
BayCare offers seasonal 13-26-week assignments -assigned OR-unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available. Our seasonal program has an eligibility requirement, and you must live outside of our local market area.
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:
· Registered Nurse license
· BLS is required.
· Associates Degree in Nursing
· 2 years OR RN experience in an acute setting is required
· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
