POSITION OVERVIEW
Vision Quest Solutions is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to support Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, Arizona.
The ED RN will provide direct patient care in a rural emergency department setting and work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform triage, assessment, monitoring, and reassessment
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond appropriately to emergency and critical situations
• Assist with stabilization and transfer of higher-acuity patients as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Follow HHCC, IHS, federal, and applicable nursing policies and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
• Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Ability to successfully complete all required credentialing, onboarding, background, and security requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Rural Emergency Department experience
• Indian Health Service or Tribal healthcare experience
• Critical Access Hospital experience
• Federal healthcare experience
• TNCC certification
