The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct
patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant performs a
variety of individualized patient care activities including bathing, dressing,
feeding and transporting as well as related non-professional services necessary
in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the geriatric patient
population.
Minimum Requirements:

Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required and perstate/contract requirements
-
Experience with memory care patients, preferred
-
One year of geriatricnursing assistant experience preferred
-
Current CPR
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
-
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
