Surgical ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: New Haven, CT
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Registered Nurse
assumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and
delivery of patient care in the SICU setting.,). The Registered Nurse
consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for
managing complex patient care across all patient ages with a focus on immediate
postoperative medical care.
Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

2 years of SICU or ICU experience, preferred
-
CCRN and/or TCRN/TNCC certifications preferred
-
ACLS and/or PALS may be required per state/contract
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
