Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a home health assignment in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is ideal for an RN with home health experience who is comfortable providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes, managing a varied caseload, and coordinating care throughout the Norfolk and Virginia Beach areas.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed

Coverage Area: Norfolk and Virginia Beach

On-Call/Weekend: One weekday on-call shift each week and every fourth weekend

Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits

Responsibilities
· Conduct home health admissions and Start of Care (SOC) visits.
· Perform routine nursing visits, recertifications, and discharge assessments.
· Provide wound care, including wound vac management.
· Collect laboratory specimens and perform other skilled nursing interventions as needed.
· Provide Foley catheter care and monitor patients for complications.
· Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs.
· Support medication education and management to promote patient safety and treatment adherence.
· Assess patient conditions, identify changes in health status, and communicate updates to the care team.
· Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
· Coordinate care with physicians, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
· Participate in scheduled on-call coverage, including one weekday each week and every fourth weekend.
Requirements
· Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
· Previous home health nursing experience required.
· Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
· Ability to provide skilled nursing services independently in patients' homes.
· Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
· Ability to travel between patient homes throughout Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
· Availability for weekday on-call shifts and rotating weekend coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) electronic medical record software.
· Experience with wound vacs, wound care, Foley catheter care, and medication management.
· Strong patient and caregiver education skills.
· Ability to manage a home health caseload efficiently while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Pay Details: $53.00 to $55.90 per hour
