• Assist with the management of performance measurement and improvement activities
designed to improve patient care and patient safety.
• Responsible for accurately abstracting the medical records to collect performance data relating
to, but not limited to requirement elements of performance, core measures, infection control,
patient safety, and demographic and social equity of care.
• Assist with the development and implementation of strategies aimed at improving performance.
• Complete reviews in the appropriate time frames.
• Participates in nursing research activities as requested.
• Collects concurrent and retrospective data in support of various accreditation and regulatory
required studies/initiatives.
• Works independently on assigned projects utilizing a high level or initiative, judgement and
critical thinking skills.
• Assist with the identification and communication of staff educational needs, appropriate leaders
or departments of identified issues.
• Performs other job duties as needed.
