Position Overview
The Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) works collaboratively with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and facility administrators to support the health and well-being of the incarcerated population. This role requires the ability to provide both routine and emergency nursing care while navigating the unique challenges and limitations of a correctional environment.
Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care within a correctional facility

Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as needed

Perform assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Minimum Requirements
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

Minimum 1 year of correctional and/or psychiatric nursing experience

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

Completed TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation
?? Local Pay: $47/hour
?? Travel Pay: $20/hour
?? Meals Stipend: $700/week
?? Housing Stipend: $400/week
?? Estimated Weekly Gross: ~$1,820/week
