School Nurse (RN/LPN) - 1:1 Student Support
Location: Hingham, MA
Pay Rate: RN - $55/hr, LPN - $45/hr (based on experience)
Contract Length: ASAP through End of School Year (potential to extend into summer and next school year)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable RN or LPN to provide 1:1 care for a middle school student in a school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a student's safety, independence, and daily participation in the classroom.
Assignment Details

Provide 1:1 nursing support to a 13-year-old middle school student
-
Student recently experienced loss of mobility and uses a wheelchair
-
Newly diagnosed with epilepsy , with seizures currently not fully controlled
-
Student is otherwise a typical 13-year-old and attends a standard school program
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to seizure activity , following established care plans
-
Provide safe transport assistance throughout the school day
-
Support with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
-
Ensure the student's health, safety, and comfort at all times
-
Work collaboratively with school staff and caregivers
-
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of care
Qualifications
-
Active RN or LPN license (Massachusetts)
-
Experience with pediatric care, school nursing, or special needs preferred

Comfort with seizure management (training can be provided if needed)

Strong communication and reliability
-
Ability to provide compassionate, attentive 1:1 support
