Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified School Nurse (CSN) to support student health and wellness in a school setting. The CSN plays a vital role in identifying and treating health conditions, promoting disease prevention, and helping students maintain optimal physical and emotional well-being to succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities

Assess and manage students' health conditions within the school setting

Provide health education focused on wellness and disease prevention

Conduct hearing and vision assessments

Maintain accurate health records and documentation

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers
-
Refer students to appropriate medical or community resources as needed
Minimum Requirements
-
Active RN license in the state of practice

Certified/credentialed in School Nursing (CSN required)

Minimum of 1 year of school nursing experience

Experience with hearing and vision screenings
-
Pediatric experience preferred
-
Current CPR certification (if applicable)
-
TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray as required)

Current health certificate (per state/contract requirements)
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
