Description:
Hospice RN Manager - Intake & Admissions - Community Hospice
The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time RN leader responsible for overall operations of Hospice Intake and Admissions.
We're looking for a high-energy, fast-paced leader who can thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and drive operational and cultural transformation.
What you will do:

Responsible for administrative direction, clinical oversight and daily operations of Intake, and admission functions across the Hospice service area.

Build and reinforce a culture where speed and responsiveness to referrals is critical providing support and assistance to ensure an easy, fast intake process.

Ensure rapid turnaround for admissions , recognizing that patients are often referred late and time is a key factor in care outcomes

Arrange timely admissions, ensuring accessibility 365 days a year.

Is involved collaboratively with Provider Relations and education of healthcare professionals, referral sources and the general public regarding hospice care and eligibility.

Ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation standards and agency policies and processes.

Serve as a member of the Community Hospice senior leadership team.
What you will need:

A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York

BSN preferred but not required.

Prior Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Minimum of 3 years Hospice, acute care, or homecare RN experience required.

The RN will have the skills to provide direct oversight of the intake departments and the skills to do a hospice admission when deemed necessary.

Prior Hospice experience preferred
Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation, preceptors and a supportive work environment
Training provided in end of life care.
Pay Range: $48.00 - $63.38 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
