FlexStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), Wound Care certified to work on a temporary assignment for one of our clients, a Level II Trauma Center located in Brooklyn, NY.
Qualifications

Three to five (3-5) years' experience in healthcare.

Active NYS Registered Nurse license.

Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB; or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the (WOCNCB); or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM); or Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).

Experience with EPIC for the past six (6) months.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct wound, ostomy, and continence assessments; develop care plans and recommend treatments

Review and document patient responses to wound and ostomy care

Collaborate with the healthcare team and make referrals as needed

Educate patients and families on prevention and management of complications

Assess patients at risk for pressure injuries and implement preventive measures

Participate in quality improvement activities

Provide culturally competent education to patients, families, and staff

Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy

Perform other assigned duties and float as needed

The salary range for this position is $62.00-$75.00/hour
