The Women's Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET, and Texas 10-Step facility, has been named 'Best Place to Have a Baby' and Maternal Level IV designated facility
Work hours: PRN: On an as needed basis, 6:45PM-7:15AM with weekend and holiday coverage
Maternal/Newborn, Couplet Care Department highlights:

Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

27-bed Maternal/Newborn unit
-
Average between 275 to 300 deliveries per month

Utilize the following skills: Breastfeeding education/resources, responsible for both mom and baby (Couplet Care)
Here's What You Need
-
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma
-
Bachelor's degree Nursing (BSN) preferred
-
One-year experience as a registered nurse (RN) in an acute care setting required.

2-years' experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting preferred
-
2-years current Maternal/Newborn RN experience strongly preferred
-
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
-
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program preferred
-
Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

directly assists leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, by offering staff guidance and support, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and ensuring unit operational tasks are completed.
