$5,000 | 2-year commitment | Recent graduates and LPNs with 0-1 years of experience

Purpose:
Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.
Responsibilities:

Draw blood.
-
Administer medications, including oral, SQ, IM, and IV drip therapies.

Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Assess patients' general condition, including vital signs and weight.

Promote wellness through patient education and by communicating physician instructions and recommendations.

Document patient care activities, interventions, patient and family responses, and medications in the medical record.

Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and patient information.

Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those established by OSHA, CLIA, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Act 33 with renewal

Act 34 with renewal

Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal

Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)

Current Pennsylvania nursing license, or a multistate license issued by an NLC‑participating state. Employees working on an out‑of‑state NLC license who later establish residency in Pennsylvania must apply for a PA Nursing license within 60 days of their residency change.
