Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) to join a growing outpatient healthcare organization. This individual will oversee the daily operations of clinical staff across multiple clinic locations while ensuring quality patient care, compliance, and efficient clinic workflows. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong outpatient background who is comfortable managing staff while also stepping into clinical duties when needed. This role partners closely with the Director of Nursing and serves as a key resource for clinical teams throughout the organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Supervise and support clinical staff (primarily CMAs and LPNs) across multiple outpatient clinic locations
Assign daily responsibilities and ensure clinical operations run efficiently
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to staff members
Assist with employee evaluations and staff development initiatives
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply management
Partner with nursing leadership to address operational challenges and improve workflows
Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies
Coordinate staffing schedules and coverage across clinic locations
Participate in team huddles, meetings, and operational planning sessions
Step into direct patient care when needed to maintain clinic operations
Support the organization's transition from ECW to EPIC and assist staff with workflow changes

Skills and Requirements
Active RN or LPN license
Minimum 1 year of supervisory, lead, or management experience
Experience working in an outpatient, ambulatory, urgent care, or physician office setting
Experience managing or supervising clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, or Medical Assistants
Experience conducting performance reviews and supporting the employee lifecycle
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with staffing coordination, task delegation, and workflow management
Inventory control and supply management experience
Ability to travel between multiple clinic locations as needed Experience as a Nurse Supervisor, Lead Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse
EPIC experience
Experience in infectious disease or specialty clinic environments
Experience with staff training and development initiatives
