Position Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide healthcare services within a correctional facility in Stormville, New York. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to provide quality patient care in a secure environment.
Essential Functions

Assess, monitor, and document inmate/patient health conditions.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.

Complete nursing assessments, screenings, and health histories.

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and wellness initiatives.

Ensure compliance with correctional healthcare standards, policies, and procedures.

Observe and report changes in patient conditions to appropriate medical personnel.

Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
Qualifications
For RN Candidates:

Active and unrestricted New York Registered Nurse license.

Current BLS certification.
-
Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.

Correctional, emergency, behavioral health, or medical-surgical experience preferred.
